Sexual Harassment in Florida
The federal and state laws against treating employees differently with regard to the terms, conditions and privileges of employment based upon sex or gender also make it illegal to subject an employee to sexual harassment. For example, if you are frequently subjected to offensive comments regarding your sex or gender by co-workers or supervisors or are touched inappropriately, it could be considered unlawful sexual harassment. If you feel you are being sexually harassed, and need assistance with seeking internal remedies and/or legal remedies if the sexual harassment does not stop, please contact the Sass Law Firm to schedule a consultation to learn more about your rights. Additionally, if you are retaliated against for complaining about sexual harassment, please call the Law Offices of Cynthia N. Sass, P.A., to schedule a consultation to learn more about your rights and potential remedies.
