Prior to joining the Law Offices of Cynthia N. Sass, P.A., Ben Briggs clerked for the judges of the Michigan Court of Appeals, drafting pre-hearing reports and per curiam opinions in a wide range of civil and criminal cases. Ben is admitted to practice in Florida and Michigan, including the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. He is a member of The Florida Bar Labor and Employment Law Section and the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association.

Ben Briggs was an annual recipient of the Boston University School of Law Scholarship and he graduated from Boston University School of Law with honors in 2011, concentrating in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Ben was also the Note Editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine, an appellate moot court program participant and a member of the American Constitution Society.

For his undergraduate studies, Ben Briggs attended Taylor University and received numerous scholarships, including the Dean’s Scholarship, Gerber Area Foundation Scholarship, Coe Endowed Scholarship, Tyndale Endowed Scholarship and the Barnegat Lighthouse Endowed Scholarship. During his time at Taylor University, he was on the Ethical Debate Team, received the Michigan Merit Award, made the Dean’s list every year, and graduated magna cum laude in 2008, with a B.A. in Political Science.
